 AVSI ’s 21 NGO members act as an international network,
sharing the same principles and approach as AVSI.
The operative coordination of the network is assured by
quarterly meetings designed to integrate policies and
strategies and to promote common programs.

In 1999, the AVSI network implemented a total of 112
development and emergency assistance projects in many
parts of the world.
These programs were financed by European governments, the
European Union (EU), agencies of the United Nations, the
World Bank, government entities in the countries where
projects are carried out, private international charitable
associations, and private donors.
